CARPET STAIN PROTECTANTOur stain protectant will provide protection for your carpet
Why Chem-Dry Protectant™?
Over time, the regular factory-applied stain resistants on your carpets become less effective. This leads to more spots and stains showing up on your carpet! These spots require more effort to try and remove as you let them sit there. The purpose of Chem-Dry Protectants is to make your carpets more stain-resistant. M.S. Chem-Dry recommends using this protectant to boost your carpet’s ability to resist stains and soils.
PowerGuard Protectant ™
Chem-Dry’s PowerGuard Protectant™ is loaded with acid-dye resistors to arm your carpet with excellent stain resistance. Chem-Dry’s PowerGuard Protectant™ has a unique polymer base that further protects solution-dyed carpets such as polyester and olefin. Laboratory tests confirm that PowerGuard mixed with The Natural® out-performs all other protectants in the carpet cleaning industry.
Chem-Dry Repel Protectant™ can be applied to all types of carpets. It repels most liquids, allowing spills to be removed before staining can even occur. Repel Protectant works by forming a molecular shield around each carpet fiber. This shield increases the surface tension of the carpet fibers, causing them to repel liquid spills, dust, and dirt. This helps prevent dirt, stains, and other contaminants from being ground into or absorbed by the carpet fiber.
Chem-Dry Wool Protectant™ is a fluorocarbon, water-based product specifically developed to enhance repellency of stains and soiling in wool carpets and area rugs. Wool Protectant also works by forming an invisible shield around each carpet fiber to resist soil and stains. The repellency our cleaners provide enables most liquid spills to be removed before staining can take place.
